根据大纲规定，英语一的翻译考察对概念或结构较复杂的英语语言文字材料的理解，顾名思义，所考察的材料，题材较为抽象，较为难以理解，且句式复杂。而英语二只说明考察对英语语言文字材料的理解，并未说明难度。从英语一英语二的考研试题我们也可以看出来，英语二的翻译题无论从句式还是单词方面，相对于英语一都较为简单。而尽管两种考试，难度不同，却都是按照准确、完整、通顺三个标准进行评分。考研翻译，评分标准就 四个字，一个“理解‘,一个”表达“。”
